EFCC Seals Theodore Orji, Son Properties over alleged N521 billion heist
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has sealed Senator Theodore Orji and his son Chinedum properties in Abia state over alleged N521 billion heist.
Chinedum, is the Speaker of Abia state Assembly.
The Anti-graft agency had in February quizzed Theodore Orji, over an allegation that he diverted N521 billion from the state to his personal use while he was the Governor.
Chinedum, was also quizzed alongside his father.
The investigation followed a petition dated March 17, 2017, filed by a group, Fight Corruption: Save Nigeria Group.
On the strength of the investigation, the Anti graft agency on Tuesday sealed properties in Abia (Aba and Umuahia) belonging to Senator Orji and his son.
According to Twitter user, Nedunaija, Today, EFCC sealed multiple properties in Abia state (Aba and Umuahia) belonging to thieving father and son who both turned Abia to a wasteland.
There’s rejoicing in the entirety of the two cities.
” I hope EFCC finally prosecutes them.”
