EFCCreleases suspected cyber fraudster, Mompha
Suspected cyber fraudster, Ismaila Mustapha, also known as Mompha, has been released from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Mompha was released about two weeks after his re-arrest by EFCC operatives.
Mompha was granted bail by the Federal High Court in Lagos after pleading not guilty to alleged money laundering to the tune of N32 billion.
He was re-arrested on August 14 when he went to reclaim his personal items from EFCC office in Lagos.
It was also gathered that Mompha has withdrawn the N5m fundamental rights suit he filed against the anti-graft agency challenging his re-arrest.
