*PDP chairman to storm police, DSS, on Monday, invites media
The alleged threat by Governor Willie Obiano to kill Hon Ken Emeakayi, the state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] Anambra State, has taken a new turn as the PDP Chairman today at Awka accused the security agencies of failing to investigate the threat by the governor and his agents to kill to him.
Hon Emeakayi today invited the media; both print, electronic and social media to accompany him to the office of the state commissioner of Police and that of the Director of DSS Awka on Monday March 20, 2017 to ask these security agencies why no investigation nor enquiry has been instituted over his petition against governor Obiano.
According to the letter addressed to media of which a copy was obtained by APGA Interactive Forum, the state PDP Chairman stated that his life is no longer safe since Thursday, February 23 when the governor at about 8pm called him and threatened to kill him.
Emeakayi said, he petitioned the police and DSS immediately and requested the agencies to;
1. Obtain from the network providers the call history/record and playback of the mobile telephone number which the governor used to threaten him.
2. Provide him with 24 hours security and protection against this threat.
The PDP chairman, said he was disappointed that despite the urgent nature of his petition to Police and DSS respectively on the subject matter, the agencies have not taken any steps to protect him neither has he gotten any word from them.
He, therefore, plans to storm the Police and DSS offices on Monday by 1pm in company of the media to ascertain the reasons why his petition against governor Obiano was not attended to.
Below is the letter of invitation to press to cover his visit on Monday:
