Anambra State Judicial Panel of Enquiry on Police Brutality, Extra-judicial Killings and other Related Matters resumed hearing on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, after several weeks of hiatus.

It is holding its second panel hearing for the year at ASATU Hall, Government House, Awka.

Chairman of the panel, Hon. Justice Vero Ngozi Umeh (Rtd.), announced that Anambra State Government approved 16 (sixteen) additional sittings for the panel.

Moreover, out of 310 cases before the panel, over 270 are yet to be concluded.

Some observers have said it will be a miracle if the panel will meticulously adjudicates on and concludes these number of pending cases within the slated time frame.
