Ex-Edo Commissioner, Adodo dies from Covid-19 [update]
A former Edo State Commissioner for Establishment, Labour and Special Duties, Comrade Didi Adodo, has died from ailments believed to be complications of Covid-19, according to sources close to the family.
Comrade Adodo, before his death, was the General Secretary of the The Iron and Steel Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ISSSAN).
He was also a former General Secretary of the United Labour Congress.
Adodo, who was once a frontline labour leader in the state labour industry, served as Commissioner during the tenure of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
He reportedly took ill last week and was taken to hospital but could not recover.
