Ex-Governor Uduaghan dumps APC, returns to PDP
The former governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has concluded plans to dump the All Progressives Congress (APC) to officially return to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to sources, Uduaghan will dump the party on Monday along with thousands of his supporters to PDP.
He is expected to be welcomed at his Unit, in Ward 6, Abigborodo, Warri North local government area of Delta State.
ElombahNews reported on September 22 that the former Delta governor is set to return to PDP which he left in 2018.
He dumped the PDP to join APC following disagreements with some party leaders where he contested the district’s senatorial seat.
It was learnt that Uduaghan recently visited his successor, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, in the Government House, Asaba, to conclude plans for his formal return to the PDP.
Meanwhile, some of his loyalists, including Hon. Godwin Abigor, a former Delta Assembly lawmaker, last week defected to PDP.
