The controversial leader of the proscribed Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu shocked many of his followers last week when he surprisingly announced on air that the United Kingdom chapter of the movement has been dissolved with immediate effect.
The announcement sent a very serious shock wave across its members who started asking the rationale behind their leaders decision considering the pivotal role the United Kingdom chapter of the movement has played so far.
Nnamdi Kanu during his last broadcast accused some members of the group of forming cabals left, right and center. He angrily maintained that such nonsense will not be tolerated in the nation of Biafra.
Although, some have alleged that Kanu dissolved the United Kingdom chapter of the movement after he was questioned about funds and unfulfilled promises he had made in the past concerning the restoration of Biafra during a crucial meeting he had with them.

The source said, “Nnamdi Kanu did the right thing by dissolving IPOB UK. IPOB UK National Coordinator created cult followers in UK. The dissolution is long overdue.
The source further said that Nnamdi Kanu sacrificed Uche Okafor-Mefor, the estranged deputy leader of the movement for the UK national coordinator of the movement
“IPOB UK National Coordinator should have been removed long time ago but Nnamdi Kanu sacrificed Uche Mefor for UK National Coordinator.
The source also reaffirmed his respect for Kanu if only he will change his attitude and stop his perennial habit of incitement on air
“However, I still respect Kanu if only he can change his attitude and stop incitement on air”
Recall that Elombahnews had reported the recent implosions in the separatist movement after the deputy leader of the group, Uche-Mefor parted ways with his former friend, Nnamdi Kanu.
The group’s popularity is gradually dwindling as many keep deserting the movement, citing lies and insincerity on the part of the leaders as reasons for leaving
