Fani-kayode Mocks Saraki, Others Over Visit To GEJ
By Centus Nweze
Femi Fani Kayode, former aviation minister and staunch critic of President Mohammadu Buhari has lobbed a broadside at former Senate President, Bukola Saraki and other People’s Democratic party (PDP) members who visited former President Goodluck Jonathan over speculations of possible defection to APC.
Stating on his verified Twitter handle, the former aviation minister said it was ironic that the same group of people who left PDP in the run-up to 2015 election thereby crippling the party are now asking the former president not to leave the party.
“Interesting to note that the man thet led the team to GEJ’s house to appeal to him not to leave the PDP is the same man that led the rebellion against him and the defection of Governors from the same party in 2014 and cost him the 2015 presidential election.
“What an irony!” FFK said.
The comment further lends credence to belief that FFK may have defected to APC form PDP the party where he belongs.
