FG gets approval for $6b loan, N895b supplementary budget unchallenged —Shehu Sani

Senator Shehu Sani has revealed that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government has secured approval for 6 billion foreign loan and N895 billion supplementary budget without challenge.

Senator Sani made the disclosure on his Twitter handle @ShehuSani on Monday.

He noted that the Federal Government deployed the age-old tested diversionary tactics on Nigerians over the debate on closed or open grazing while it worked underground.

The diversionary tactics, he said, kept northerners’ and southerners’ attention diverted while the government increased electricity tariff and jerked up pump price of PMS, as well as approval for the foreign loan and supplementary budget.

The Senator tweeted:

“While northerners and southerners attention are diverted to debate on closed or open grazing; the FG is increasing tariff on electricity, jacking up pump price of PMS and getting approval for $6 billion foreign loan and N895 billion supplementary budget, without any challenge from anywhere.”
