From Asset To Liability: APC Takes Blame Game To All-Time Low ~By Samuel Ajayi

87

What you have is president who lacks intellectual capacity, administrative acumen, charismatic carriage, depth of thinking to take critical decisions.

I have never seen a regime as daft as this one and followership that is as confused as its supporters. Chai!

How could a party, 36 months to 48 that it has to spend in its first term still be playing the blame game? How can anyone with functional brain be saying the regime is having issues because of PDP members in their ranks?

And you know what? Some of their supporters have joined the shameful orchestra and have started singing the chorus of confusion.

Let us go back in time.

In 2013, when PDP started its journey of self-immolation, these same APC leaders were openly wooing PDP members. In fact, there was a time they virtually relocated to Port-Harcourt wooing Amaechi. No, they never thought they could win Rivers. APC wanted (and got) Amaechi to their side.

What they needed was money which Rivers had in abundance then. They knew Amaechi would make it available during the campaign. He did not disappoint.

Don’t forget Bukola Saraki too. They knew he was having a running battle with the law over the now defunct Intercontinental Bank. APC leaders rallied round Saraki. They knew why they needed him desperately.

Audu Ogbeh. Nwabueze Ngige. Olagunsoye Oyinlola. Segun Oni. Rabiu Kwankwaso. Nasir el-Rufai. Murtala Nyako. Margatakada Wammako. George Akume.

I can go on and on. These are people the APC progressive pretenders saw as electoral assets then. As a practical person, I did and still do NOT see anything wrong in wooing these guys. Politics remains a game of numbers. Especially, when their gain then was PDP’s loss.

To now come two and half years on and start blaming every ill plaguing the rudderless regime on PDP members in their midst is not only a sin against humanity but also against God!

Was it PDP that asked Babachir Lawal to award contracts running into billions to his own companies? Oh it was Markafi that asked Baru to award contracts worth $26b without due process?

Oh it was Jonathan that then advised him to print invites for National Assembly members to “come and chop”? Sorry, it was PDP, as the seriously-in-need-of-help Garba Shehu said, that reinstated Maina?

These guys are a case!

Oh yeah APC cheerleaders, what you have is a president who lacks the intellectual capacity, the administrative acumen, charismatic carriage and depth of thinking (beyond ethnic and religious limitations) to take critical decisions that may offend some privileged few but benefit the larger but less privileged majority!

Therefore, if you like, blame my late grandfather for his inadequacies. One by one, your lies will always catch up with you!
