Update: Uboh Files Human Rights Suits Against Police, DIG Michael, Emefiele, Ned Nwoko, Et Al


The chairman of George Uboh Whistleblowers Network [GUWN], Dr. George Uboh has filed human rights violation suits against the Nigerian Police Force, Force DIG Tony Michael, the governor of Central Bank of Nigeria [CBN], Godwin Emefiele, billionaire Ned Nwoko, et al.

The suit came after over 20 days in he has been in Police custody without charge.

Dr. George Uboh  filed the petitions with suit number FHC/Abj/CS/612/2019 and FHC/Abj/CS/613/2019.

The foremost Whistleblowers is asking in suit 612 to be produced in court within 48 hours, while in suit 613 he is seeking, based on violation of his fundamental human rights, immediate release from detention, release of items carted away from his office, perpetual injunction, one billion Naira against the respondents jointly and severally.
