Thugs believed to be working for Governor Yahaya Bello camp have allegedly vandalised the campaign billboards of Vice Admiral Jibrin Usman (Rtd) in Opulega and Interlona of Ankpa town in a show of desperation and violent politics.
A team of the Nigerian Police went to assess the damage and have compiled a security report on the situation made available to ElombahNews.
Reacting, the Vice Admiral Jibrin Usman Campaign Organization, thereby, issued a note of warning to the these hooligans and their sponsors to desist from such desperate and violent brand of politics.
The Organization warned the godforsaken thugs and delinquents who make themselves available for such crime should be cognizant that the long arms of the law will definitely catch up with them.
Admiral Jibrin Usman Campaign Organization disclosed this in a statement signed by the spokesperson titled “Vandalization of Admiral Jibrin Usman’s Billboards in Kogi: A Show of Desperation and Political Atavism”.
According to the Organization, “this attack is just a demonstration of their lack of confidence and desperation.
“It will not in any way deter us in our great cause.
“Vice Admiral Jibrin Usman (Rtd) is here to finally bring good governance to the impoverished people of Kogi State and bail them out of their stringent economic conditions.
“Admiral Usman shall form a government that is responsive, conscionable, people-oriented, and has the rapid socio-economic development of Kogi State as its priority,” it stressed.
