Ihedioha Demolishes Okorocha’s Akachi Tower 1st Day In Office
Barely 24 hours after he was sworn-in as governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha has demolished the Akachi Tower located on Naze road, Owerri, the State capital.
The demolition marked his first assignment as governor of the State presided over by his predecessor for 8 years.
The tower was built by the immediate past governor of the state, Rochas Okorocha.
Heavily-armed security agents including the military barricaded the sight, preventing even journalists from getting closer.
The Akachi Tower, measuring over 40 feet according to Okorocha symbolises the hand of God over Imo State.
The monument was also meant to serve as tourists’ site, according to sources.
Other sources told ElombahNews that the building is enshrouded in secrecy and spiritistic cum occultic activities which prompted the new governor to swoop down on it and wrecked it.
