Groups Ask FG To Probe Fire Incident Ohanaeze Spokesman’s House
Ask FG, Igbo governments and well meaning nigerians to come to his aid
Some Igbo and Nigerian groups have called on the federal governnment to probe the circumstances that led to the firre incident that razed the residence of the Ohanaeze spokesman Chuks Ibegbu in Enugu on Sunday 30th June, 2019.
The incident completely destroyed Ibegbu’s properties , the neigboring flat and the entire building costing millions of Naira.
The groups Coalition of Civil Society Organisations of Nigeria, COSCON, Nigeria Unity Forum , NUF, War Against Poverty And Hunger In Nigeria, WAPHIN, Igbo Bu Igbo Foundation, World Igbo Youth Congress, Ndinne Igbo, International Youth Federation, NANS Zone B, National Youth Council South East Zone, Niger Delta Youth Coalition, Coalition of South East and South South Youth Leaders, COSESSYL among others asked the federal government , Igbo Governments and well meaning Nigerians to come to the aid of the Igbo spokesman .
Morer importantly they called on the Enugu state Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to help in rehabilitating the victim.
The groups spoke through their representatives, Adamu Isyaku, Joshua Jaja, for NUF, Emeka Nwamuo for WAPHIN, Nnamdi Eze for Igbo Bu Igbo Foundation, Dike Okere for World Igbo Youth Congress, Titi Ajanaku For International Youth Federation, Nnenna Chukwu For NANS Zone B, Philip Oriaku For National Youth Council Of Nigeria, South East Zone, . Emma Brown For Niger Delta Youth Coalition, And Akpan Enoh For Coaltion Of South East And South South Youth Leaders.
