Guber Debate: Why Obiano Fumbled ~ By Val Obienyem

66

Obaze is a very sound principal in a school where Chidoka is a vibrant senior prefect & the rest guber aspirants including Obiano are in JSS1 class.

Two weeks before the debate, Anambra State Government flew in a debate expert from the UK and another person from Channels Television to coach Gov. Willie Obiano.

Channels made questions to be asked available to him.

Since Comm. Mark Okoye was among those that helped him to sell our savings, he gave the questions to him, his Commissioner for Finance and AG to provide answers.

Having witnessed how Obi plays with figures, Mark cooked laughable figures for him, among others. He crammed the entire stuff.

Few hours before the debate, a lot of people who got wind of the EXPO, including myself, protested to Channels.

The management, in order to save the Station’s credibility,  waded in  and did a bit of re-structuring of the questions.

Did you notice that during the debate, whenever the moderator asked him  a question, he would start vomiting what he had earlier  crammed, whether  on or off point?

If it were to respond to what Chief Victor Umeh tutors him to say: Obi requested 7.5 billion Naira from me   and related lies, you will see him respond with aggressive pertinacity like a person aroused from stupor.

Latin people say Mens sana in corpore sano (A healthy mind in a healthy body), this was what was tested yesterday. Oseloka Obaze and Osita Chidoka passed the test.

A reckless friend of mine, appraising the debate, sent this text to me:

“Oseloka Henry Obaze  is a very sound principal in a school where Chidoka is a vibrant senior prefect and the rest guber aspirants including Obiano are in JSS1 class.”
