The normal birth of human beings on earth occurs in a split second, but once this happens for each individual, time start counting; from minutes to hours, to days, month and years. In the end, it is not how long one has lived, but how well.
Greatness is eventually judged not by the length of days, but how one has been able to use his time on earth to make meaningful contribution to the life of others around him. If Hon. Nasiru Abdullahi is named the most influential Member of Kaduna State House of Assembly one might not be wrong.
If he is regarded as sage, silent achiever or hope of hopeless or architect of development why is it so? What did he do that was different or what were others doing that he had done differently to create a niche for himself in the chronicles of this life.
The tremendous success he has so far recorded since when he was elected by good people of Unguwar Sanusi Constituency from 2007 to date was instantaneous, was not because there were enough resources thrown into it, but because the vision was clear, the need was obvious, the reason was cogent and the hour was ripe.
Hon. Nasiru Abdullahi is a complete human being, a man with good character, helpful, very courageous, obedient, very resourceful in fact there are no adjectives to qualify him, he was very patient, very tolerant and he had a good foresight, very wonderful, one who had the desire of transforming of his communities through his ability of taking his constituency to greater height.
Hon. Abdullahi recorded remarkable achievements in addition to his statutory contribution as honorable member of the Kaduna House of Assembly. It is imperative to understand that he had provided for his constituency, under the banner of his official position eleven personnel (Legislative and Special Assistants) who are paid on monthly salary and who work tooth and nail towards the yearning and aspiration of his contribution.
In the area of education, the member contributed immensely in construction of additional blocks of classrooms within his constituency those include three blocks of classrooms at Zango Primary School and 6 blocks of classrooms at GDSS Kargi road of Sabon Gari South ward; at Sabon Gari North ward 6 blocks of classrooms was built at LEA Tudun Wada Primary School; while at Unguwan Sanusi ward 6 blocks of classrooms was built at GGSS Maimuna Gwarzo and 7 blocks of classrooms was built at GSS Kurmin Mashi under Badikko/Kurmin Mashi ward respectively.
In order to make pupils of primary and post primary schools under his constituency computer literate he gives a complete set of computer to Kargi Road Primary School, complete set of Desk top computer to GGSS Maimuna Gwarzo one set of computer each to GSS Kurmin Mashi and Government College, Kaduna.
He also provide furniture to various schools those include LGEA Faki Road Primary School and LGEA Muhammadu Kabir Umar Primary School of Sabon Gari South ward; while at Sabon Gari North Ward furniture were given to LGEA Chawai Road Primary School and LGEA Maimuna Gwarzo of Unguwan Sanusi ward, in addition to donation of 160 benches and table to newly constructed secondary school at Unguwan Sanusi.
The member had so far sponsored many interested students for computer training education from various wards at Global Computer Institute, in addition to several scholarships awarded to several students on education and empowerment programmes.
In the area of religious activities, he assist both religions through sponsoring many faithful to Hajj and Jerusalem in addition to provision of two Golf vehicles each to Izala and Darika sects for propagation of Islam as well as payment of Ramadan Tafsir every year since 2007 to date.
In the area of health, he constructed Doctors Quarters and four toilets at Badikko Primary Health Care Unit. He provided 43 boreholes in the 4 wards at various locations, ten transformers to all wards, distribution of fertilizer to genuine farmers under his constituency since his assumption to date.
In the area of empowerment, he assisted many people with motorcycles, sewing machines, irrigation machines, knitting machines and electric generators to petty traders. He distributed many vehicles and motorcycles to his party stakeholders since the era of APP to date that it was transformed to APC.
His wonderful contribution to his people which cut across religion, ethnic or section inform the decision of many organizations to conferred him with merit awards in addition to the traditional title of Santuranki of Sabon Gari.
Hon. Nasiru Abdullahi was born on 13th March, 1966 at Unguwan Sanusi of Kaduna South Local Government, Kaduna State. Hausa by tribe and Muslim by religion, he attended Muhammad Kabir LEA Primary School from 1974-1980 and proceeded to Government Day Secondary School, Maimuna Gwarzo from 1981-1985.
He successfully attended Kaduna Polytechnic from 1989-2006 where he successfully receives Intermediate Certificate in Cooperative Studies, Diploma in Cooperative studies, Diploma in Business Studies, Higher National Diploma in Cooperative studies, Certificate of exemption (NYSC) Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration, Nigerian Defence Academy from 2011-2014 where he bagged Master’s in Conflict, Peace & Strategic studies and Kaduna State University from 2014-2015 he finished with Master’s in Public Administration (MPA).
Elected Councilor 1999-2003 and Member Kaduna House of Assembly from 2007 to date, he attended many retreats and conferences in and outside the country. He is married with children; his hobbies include Reading and Traveling.
