How US, UK, Israel, ors ganged up against UN anti-racism Bill

99

Data obtained by ElombahNews has revealed how the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Israel, France, Germany, Netherlands, and a host of other countries ganged up to kill a Bill introduced by the United Nations to eradicate racism and discrimination around the globe.

The United Nations had introduced the Bill known as “Global Action against Racism and Discrimination”, designed as a call to remove racism and discrimination from all vestiges of human endeavours.

However, the said Bill did not see the light of the day as fourteen countries voted against it.

The voting summary goes like this:

Countries that voted “Yes” = 106.

Countries that voted “No” = 14.

It was even ironic that some countries the Bill was designed to protect either voted against or abstained.

Countries that “ABSTAINED” = 44.

Countries that did not vote at all, “Non-Voting” = 29.

All voting members =193.

More than 100 countries voted “Yes” while the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Israel, France, Germany, Netherlands and others voted against it.

It was remarkable also that major Europeans voted “NO” while the rest of the Europe countries “ABSTAINED”.

Also ironic is that the countries that abstained or voted against are majorly the same countries constantly calling out other countries on issues of human rights and freedoms.

This vote took place in December 2020.

However, what was considered most ironic is that the fact the DR Congo, Chair of African Union, Nigeria, the giant of Africa, and many other African countries either voted against or abstained!
