I’d rather die than join filthy Almajiri Peoples Party (APC) —Fani-Kayode

A former spokesman to former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, and former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode has debunked an insinuation that he has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] for the All Progressives Congress [APC].

Mr. Fani-Kayode made the denial on his Twitter handle on Saturday, saying the thought “is false and deeply insulting”.

He tweeted:

The suggestion that I have dumped @OfficialPDPNig for @OfficialAPCNg is false and deeply insulting. Those that are peddling this fake news should bury their heads in shame. I would rather die than join a filthy, rat-infested sinking ship like the Almajiri Peoples Party (APC).

Fani-Kayode, it could be recalled, dumped APC and joined PDP at a point in 2014 prior to the 2015 general election.

In another tweet, he regretted how a man could be jailed for killing a cow that strayed on his land while Fulani herdsmen who kill others and take their roam about freely.

Decrying the judgement, he said it is tantamount to “ten steps forward, twenty steps back”, meanwhile, in his words, “the whole world is moving forward”.

See tweet:

A man has been jailed in Abuja for killing a cow that strayed on his land. Meanwhile Fulani herdsmen who kill others and take their land go free. Ten steps forward, twenty steps back. That is the story of Nigeria. Meanwhile, the whole world is moving forward.

What do we do?
