Igbo Group Set To Visit Buhari Over Igbo Presidency
As Ohanaeze Scribe Says States Not Contributing To Alcohol Vat Should Not Benefit From It
The Umbrella body of all groups championing the Nigeria Presidency of Igbo extraction project, THE PAN NIGERIA PRESIDENCY OF IGBO EXTRACTION COALITION, PANPIEC is preparing to visit the President Muhammadu Buhari to interface with him on the 2023 successor and emphasis the need for the ruling party and other parties to zone their Presidency to the South East in particular and Igbo land in general.
The National Co-ordinator of the group, Alhaji Aminu Mohammed noted that the visit is necessary so that fifth columnist would not unduly influence Mr President when the time comes.
He stated this while addressing the media in Port Harcout after holding talks with some South South leaders of thought.
Alhaji Aminu lauded the South South for its stand that this is a pay back time for Ndigbo who have supported other zones to produce the President , Aminu noted that the Coalition would interface with key leaders in all parts of Nigeria before fully starting its activities.
In his own reaction the Director of Publicity of the Coalition Chief Erondu Uche noted that the group membership is for all Nigerians and the Co-ordinators for all the states of the federation would soon be
He stated that the Coalition is for now setting up the BOT membership which is to be made up of very eminent and trusted Nigerians from all the zones of the country.
Meanwhile the spokesman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo world wide Chuks Ibegbu has called on the federal government to ensure that states that do not contribute to the VAT on Alcohol do not benefit from it as that is unfair and unacceptable.
“You cannot benefit from what you do not contribute to,” Ibegbu asserted.
He asked Aso Rock to put their house in order and not distracting Nigerians with their power play.
