“Ihedioha A Great Leader”: Group passes Vote-of-Confidence on Ihedioha

The 27 LGA Coordinators of Team Ihedioha, the grassroots political structure of His Excellency, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, KSC has unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the former governor on his governance efforts in sustaining democratic dividend to the grassroots and positioning of the state on the path of economic recovery.
Rising from a closed-door meeting with Director General (DG) of Ihedioha Campaign Organisation, Dr Vincent Udokwu, at the Campaign Office, Owerri, the DG and the Coordinators, who addressed the press after the session, said they were satisfied and in support of all the measures taken so far by Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha to enhance the infrastructural development of Imo State to maintain its enviable status as one of the most peaceful with fastest growing economy in the country.
The commendation came following a motion moved by the former Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) and the Commissioner of ISOPADEC, Hon Kizito Onuoha which was supported by Barr Kevin Achara highlighted that they made the resolution of “vote-of-confidence’’ to further show their inflicting support to the governor who they said in going to be returned by the ongoing review at supreme court on the 2nd of March, 2020 they described Gov Ihedioha as a man with matchless capacity and intelligence whose achievements in the seven months in office is incomparable, laudable and commendable.
Others who spoke in favour of the motion before it was unanimously passed were Prof. Obioma Iheduru, the Chairman of IMSUBEB who also extolled the leadership quality of Rt. Hon Ihedioha as a man who ran a very transparent and accountable government having rightly positioned the state in the path of economic recovery and prosperity.
The initiator of the motion Hon Kizito Onuoha said Ihedioha’s administration had lived up to its promises so far and therefore deserved public accolades.
Dr Udokwu who conducted the meeting proceedings along with the entire house agreed with the passage of the vote-of-confidence motion.
He said the action was to support and evaluate governor Ihedioha’s exploits in governance and he is optimistic that His Excellency Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha would be returned back to his seat to continue the good works he has already started.
According to him, Ihedioha remains an exampliary great leader who did so much for Imo people by putting the state on the path of progress adding that his style of leadership was exemplary and legendary.
Some of the Coordinators present in the meeting include, Hon Ben Mere, Owerri zone, Hon Fab Ogbonna, Hon Kevin Agbaegbu, Hon Bright Nwaelue, Chief B. O Ugwuibe, Chief Steve Onu, Hon Kelechi Duru, Barr. Johnson Iwuchukwu, Chief P. N Anyanwu and Hon Ugoeze Cecilia Chukwuemeka and the host of others.
