Nigerian Police Force on Tuesday morning fired tear gas at peaceful protesters observing a sit-out as part of the demand for ailing president Muhammadu Buhari to either resume work or resign after failing to show up for work for 92 days.
Buhari had been in United Kingdom for Medical trip for past 90 days.
Civil society groups led by The Concerned Nigerians Group had Monday began a protest demanding the Nigerian leader to either resume or resign.
The protest was to be followed by a daily sit-out until the president listens to their demands.
The Convener, Prince Deji Adeyanju in his reaction to the attack vowed to continue with protest tomorrow saying the group is not deterred by Police attacked on them at the Unity fountain.
