A source has informed Elombah.com that the Inspector General Of Police, Ibrahim Idris has ordered the immediate sack of the dispatch rider knocked down by the convoy of the Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi.
Recall that Elombah.com, on Saturday, November 11, reported a faceoff between Amaechi’s security details and that of the State governor, Nyesom Wike.
According to the Rivers State All Progressives Congress (APC), the Dispatch Rider to Governor Wike pulled a pistol to shoot Rotimi Amaechi but missed his target.
On the other hand, however, the Governor Wike camp claimed that they were attacked by Amaechi’s convoy without provocation on his way to a project inspection tour.
This medium was informed that the sack of the dispatch rider came following a directive from the Presidency courtesy of Amaechi’s influence.
IGP Idris reportedly ordered the Rivers State Commissioner of Police , Zaki Ahmed to sack the outrider in Wike’s convoy knocked down by the Minister of T.
The hapless outrider, according to our source, faced Orderly Room Trial at the office of the Rivers State Commissioner of Police.
