Buhari trip's Postponement: Nigeria now on Auto-Pilot ―Fani-Kayode
Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode on Sunday described the postponement of President Muhammadu Buhari arrival from medical trip as an indication that Nigeria is on Auto-pilot.
President had Sunday issued a statement of postponement Buhari arrival till further notice due to series medical tests.
However, the former Minister on twitter handle said," Buhari has finally acknowledged that he is sick and has extended his stay abroad indefinitely. It is now clear that Nigeria is in trouble.
"Nigeria is now on auto-pilot. Pray for Osinbajo. Pray for Nigeria.
“Pray for the south and Middle Belt. An ill wind is about to be unleashed."
According to the Senior Special Adviser to the president on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the President had planned to return to Abuja this evening.
He was, however, advised to complete the test cycle before returning.
“The notice has since been dispatched to the Senate President, and Speaker, House of Representatives”, Adesina said.
“Mr. President expresses his sincere gratitude to Nigerians for their concern, prayers and kind wishes”, he added.
