Nigeria ended their 2018 World Cup qualification campaign with a 1-1 draw against Algeria on Friday night.
John Ogu fired the west African nation ahead with his 63rd minute strike before Porto’s Yacine Brahimi rescued the Desert Foxes from the penalty spot with two minutes remaining in the encounter.
The stalemate in Constantine means the Super Eagles marched on to Russia with an unbeaten record of four wins and two draws in six games.
With these unbeaten runs it is believed that the Super Eagles will do well in the world cup proper.
