Judiciary to embark on vacation barely after 3 months strike

The Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Justice S. Garba has declared that the Judiciary in the territory will embark on vacation.

The vacation will begin on Friday, July 23, 2021, and will last for two months,

The vacation is coming after barely three months the court was under lock and strike owing to the strike embarked upon by the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN).

The strike, which commenced on April 6, 2021, was called off after over two months on June 10, 2021.

Ironically, just one month later, the Judiciary is embarking on a two month vacation.
