…as civil servants kick
Governor Obiano has forced the leadership of the civil servants in the state to call for a rally tomorrow at Jeromi Udoji Secretariat Awka.
It was learned that the rally is for the workers to endorse the governor.
A civil servant in one of the ministries told AIF Media Forum that the rally to endorse the governor is uncalled for. He stated that their professional work ethics forbid civil servants from being partisan and wondered why the governor is politicizing the state workforce.
AIF Media Forum investigation learnt that due to reservations made by some senior civil servants over the planned rally tomorrow, the organisers have quickly named the rally, “2017 Public Service Day”.
Our investigation shows that Public Service Day is an annual event for civil servants which normally holds on every July and not November.
Two days ago, the same governor forcefully closed all markets in Anambra State and compelled them to an endorsement rally.
Endorsements do not win election. Obiano should stop forcing the people for endorsement. He should accept the total rejection of Ndi Anambra as will be witnessed in November 18.
