Lagos/Anambra Women, FCT/Bauchi Men Top List In Protection Of Women’s Right —Poll

Women from Lagos and Anambra states and men from FCT-Abuja and Bauchi State topped the list in the protection of women’s rights, according to a recent survey conducted by the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics [NBS].

Areas covered in the survey include refuses sex with the male spouse, going out without telling him, neglecting the children, engaging in arguments with the man, burns food during preparation, etc.

The stats show women from North Central are lowest in per cent in standing up to women’s rights, followed by women from North East and North West regions.

Highest in rising up to women’s rights are South West women followed by South South and South East.
