Federal High Court affirms Ikpeazu as Governor 

…says Tax documents not forged 

….Dismisses the matter

Justice A.I Allagoa of the Federal High Court in Owerri, has affirmed the election of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State.

Ruling on the matter filed by Mr. Friday Nwosu against, Ikpeazu, Uche Ogah, PDP and INEC, on alleged forgery of tax documents by Governor Ikpeazu, the court ruled that the plaintiff, (Nwosu) was unable to prove that the tax documents where forged.

The court ruled that the tax documents where not forged, and went further to dismissed the matter.

Ikpeazu vs Ogah: Justice Abang loses jurisdiction

Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court Abuja has formally transfered further proceedings in the matter between Governor Ikpeazu and Uche Ogah to the court of Appeal…as he no longer has jurisdiction to hear the matter…

Court extends order stopping Abia CJ, others from swearing in Ogah

Abia State High Court in Osisioma has granted a motion filed by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State for for extension of Order restraining the Chief Judge of Abia State, the President Abia State Customary Court of Appeal and any other judicial officer from swearing in Mr. Uche Ogah, as governor of the state.

The order extends to 18th July, 2016.
