Mali remains on serious political tension
Mali remains on serious political tension with the 15th Sept deadline given by ECOWAS to the military junta to name a civilian leadership for the Transitional government.
The main opposition Coalition M5-RFP disgrees with the junta on the composition of the transition government.
The opposition last week accused ECOWAS of acting like political robbers after several severe economic sanctions was slammed on Mali.
However, Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo, the new Chair of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State has convened a Consultative meeting on the Mali crisis in Accra. Political observers hopefully believe that the outcome of the meeting will herald a new beginning for Mali
