The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Ekiti State Chapter has promised to support the Ekiti State Government in making more effective its Anti-grazing law.
The Miyetti Allah also promised to collaborate with the State government to rid the State herdsmen that are committing crimes in the State.
This was the outcome of the meeting held Monday evening between the leadership of the association and the Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose.
Sequel to this development, the Ekiti State governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has directed the suspension of activities of the Ekiti Anti-Grazing Enforcement Marshals (EGEM) till Thursday, November 3.
That is a date scheduled for a meeting with all herdsmen in Ekiti State by 11am at the government house, Ado Ekiti.
The suspension will enable the herdsmen to move their cattle to designated locations in the State.
