Mobile Court releases #RevolutionNow protesters arrested in Abuja
As Olawale Bakare, six others arrested
A Mobile Court sitting in Abuja has released #RevolutionNow protesters arrested earlier today.
ElombahNews reportedly in a previous bulletin that some #RevolutionNow protesters were arrested and dragged before Mobile Courts in the Federal Capital Territory.
In a later development, it was learnt that the protesters wearing orange-coloured berets were freed.
Meanwhile, operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS), on Wednesday, arrested Olawale Bakare and six other #RevolutionNow protesters around Olaiya area of Osogbo, Osun State capital.
The protesters led by Bakare aka Mandate armed with placards had converged on Correspondents’ chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists located in the area and informed newsmen that they wanted to address them.
Some policemen had approached and were discussing with the protesters when suddenly heavily armed DSS operatives swooped on the protesters and arrested seven of them.
