In continuation of humanitarian intervention in support of persons that were affected by flood in various parts of the country, Director General National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Muhammad Sani Sidi OFR was in Sokoto on Thursday to deliver relief items for the affected persons in the state.
In addition to the relief delivery, the DG NEMA together with Governor Aminu Tambuwal visited one of the affected community in Maikulki, Binji Local Government Area where he advised them on measures to avoid reoccurrence of the flood while reassuring them of the Federal Government’s commitment to disaster management.
The items were presented to the Sokoto State Governor for distribution to the affected persons. Similar supports have been delivered to affected persons in many states and more to come.
