In marking the 57 year of independence as a country, the Governor of Adamawa state felicitate with all the people of Nigeria and indeed the good people of Adamawa state in staying together as a united nation.
In a special Independence message Bindow reiterated that the last two years was years successful used to upgrade the physical infrastructure in the state, improved on social service delivery and have restored confidence in the process of governance.
According to him will continue to render selfless to the entire people of the state by providing good dividend of democracy in keeping the mandate and support all government operations, including his obligation to pay the civil servants their salaries as and when due.
“We have every reason to express gratitude to Almighty God for keeping us together as a nation despite all the challenges of nationhood.
“I know that we are passing through difficult times together especially with regards to hard economic challenges and disturbing agitations leading to hate speeches and even attempts to create unwanted crisis.” Bindow stated
He vowed never to allow every threats of insecurity to stop him or to succeed in reversing the gains his administration have already achieved.
“God in his infinite mercy has helped us to overcome our security challenges , thanks to the commitment of our president, President Muhammadu Buhari and the gallant fighting forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.” He added
He call on all and sundry that 57th independence celebration is a time of rededicating ourselves to the principles of peaceful coexistence, unity and development of our dear state and country at large.
