Pro- Buhari group in the House of Representatives has denied media report of the planned by some members of the group to oust Leader of the House, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.
It was gathered that some members of the caucus loyal to the President are set to move against Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila (APC, Lagos) over what they consider as his perceived attempts to personalize support for the President and use such for personal gains.
However, the arrowhead of the group, Kano House of Representatives member, Abdulmumin Jibrin, in tweet released on Friday Morning said that there is nothing like division among the lawmakers in the Green Chamber.
He admitted that though there was an issued among the lawmakers which will be resolved with internal mechanism of the caucus.
According to him,Against the back drop of media reports, I wish to state that there is no crack in APC caucus of the House. We have internal issues and there is nothing unusual about it. However, these issues will be resolved internally. We have one caucus and Femi Gbajabiamila is the leader. Thank you.
It was gathered that the aggrieved caucus members belong to the Parliamentary Support Group (PSG) led by Mr. Abdulmummin Jibrin.
The Parliamentary Support Group (PSG) led by Mr. Jibrin is up in arms against the caucus leadership of House Leader, Femi Gbajabiamila ,who is also the arrowhead of the Loyalist Group.
The PSG are said to be unhappy with Gbajabiamila for saying that there was no faction within the All Progressives Congress caucus of the House.
