Says Bombing Won’t Deter Restructuring Campaign
The apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has revealed the real motive behind the bombing of the country home of its President General, Chief Barrister John Nnia Nwodo.
In a short press statement made available to ElombahNews on Monday, it said the bombing of the home of Chief Nwodo was by enemies of progress in a way to deter Ohanaeze Ndigbo from the pursuit of the Restructuring of Nigeria.
The statement was issued and signed by the National Depuy Publicity Secretary, Mazi Chukwudi Ibegbu.
The apex Igbo socio-cultural said rather than deter it, the incident will re-invigorate the President General and the entire NEC of the Apex Igbo body.
Mazi Ibegbu stated that Ohanaeze will redouble their effort and sync with other progressives in other parts of the country to to achieve the goal of Restructuring Nigeria and ensuring justice , equity and fairlplay in our country.
He stressed that Ohanaeze Ndigbo would not relent in its effort to ensure that Ndigbo get their fair deal in the Nigeria project and no amount of intimidation and callous display of terrorism will make it shirk its divine responsiblity.
