Obaseki Renames Adams Oshiomhole Crescent to Bukola Saraki Boulevard
The governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has renamed Adams Oshiomhole Crescent in Auchi to Bukola Saraki Boulevard.
Governor Obaseki made the announcement on Friday in Benin City.
The governor announced the change of name of the Crescent which was named after his predecessor, Adams Oshiomhole.
Obaseki and Oshiomhole have been in a running battle over who will run the affairs of the state.
The fight degenerated so badly that it eventually led to Obaseki being disqualified from the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary of the forthcoming Edo State governorship election.
Earlier today, the embattled governor dumped the ruling APC and defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
