Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano pledged 3% of the state allocation for rebuilding North East ravaged by Boko Haram out of desperation for 2nd tenure
Elombah.com has been informed that Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano has pledged 3 percent of the state allocation for rebuilding North East ravaged by Boko Haram.
It was further revealed that Governor Obiano made the move out of desperation for a second tenure.
According to the report, Obiano pledged to give out the 3% of the state revenue for the next 10 years.
Meanwhile, news making the rounds has it that the governor is gearing to decamp to the All Progressives Congress [APC] to improve his chances in the next gubernatorial election.
The election is coming up in 2017.

Meanwhile, in another development, some communities in Anambra State have accused Obiano’s Aides of stoking crises in their areas.
The residents of Lilu community in Ihiala Local Government Area stormed the Awka Government House last week in protest.
They were protesting against indiscriminate arrest of their prominent sons and daughters by the police.
They blamed the state’s Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Mr. Greg Obi of complicity in the crisis.
They accused Mr. Obi of toiling with the peace and security of the state’s communities.
They pointed out that more than 120 communities out the constituting 177 communities in the state have one crisis or another, courtesy of the Commissioner.
They protested and petitioned the governor, over what they referred to as the “Dangerous trend in Anambra communities precipitated by the Commissioner for Local Govt/Chieftaincy Matters, Mr Greg Obi…”
They drew the attention of the state governor, the general public, especially all citizens of Anambra state to the dangerous trend currently playing out in about 120 communities in the state presently.
