Obiano Is Bribing Churches For His Second Term —Catholic Priest

*Some politicians came to bribe me with N10 million, but I rejected

*The road Obiano built in my village was washed off by rain after 3 days

Reverend Father Johnbosco Chinedu Oforjuo of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Amihe-Ukpor in Nnewi South Local Government has blasted Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano ahead of the upcoming state governorship election in November.

Reverend Oforjuo reportedly openly told his congregation never to re-elect the governor for another four years.

Oforjuo accused Obiano of bribing the church and men of God and warned that any priest that collects such bribe will go to hell.

While speaking to the mammoth crowd at Ukpor, the Catholic priest queried why Governor Obiano would be sending money to churches booking for mass because of his election.

He then wondered why he never booked for masses earlier when election was not yet near.

The Rev Father lambasted the Speaker of the State Assembly, stating that the road at the home of Madam Speaker is in a terrible condition.

The Priest who was visibly angry told his audience that the road the governor built in his village was washed off by rain after 3 days.

He thereafter appealed to Ndi Anambra not to vote for Obiano.

Recall that another Catholic Priest, Father Basil Anunobi, few months ago, called Obiano administration a liar when he took to his Facebook page.

He urged Ndi Anambra to help ask the commissioner for works, why he went on air to claim that an abandoned road in his area had been completed.

Two months ago, a governorship aspirant, Dr Elo Afoka had alleged that Rev Father Ejike Mbaka of Enugu Adoration Ministry had rejected a 5 million naira offer from Governor Obiano.

Meanwhile, Rev Oforjuo said some politicians brought 10 million naira to bribe him, for him to stop talking but he rejected it.

“These accusations and call for voters to reject Obiano second term bid by the church,” according to our correspondent, “constitutes a very bad omen for Obiano’s second term ambition.

“I will advise Obiano not to contest this election than facing this imminent humiliation at the poll.

“I will also advice the remnants still shouting Willie is Working to starting looking for a credible candidate to support, for November 18 governorship election as heaven has spoken.

“I commend these priests and men of God that have stood courageously against the lies and deceit of this government.”

The Obiano administration has frequently been accused of lies, deceit and propaganda in the three years of his existence.
