Ohanaeze Warns Against Arrest Of Jewish Religion Members
Seeks abolishment of OSU system in Igbo land
The Apex Igbo body Ohanaeze Ndigbo has warned against the arrest of followers of Judaism in Igbo land by overzealous security agents.
The spokesman of the group, Chuks Ibegbu lambasted security agents in a press release over the regular arrest of Jewish religious members in Abia state and warned that this trend must stop.
These men fail to arrest Shekau, the Boko Haramist, nor defeat the terror group and are only strong in the presence of Jewish or pro-Biafra agitators.
“We can’t continue seeing this”, Ibegbu warned.
In another development Ohanaeze Ndigbo has lent its maximum support for the abolishment of OSU system in Igbo land.
The system which ostracise some groups and individuals in Igbo land has refused to abate even in this modern age.
Ibegbu warned against the existence of such antiquated practices and noted that every Igbo man or woman is now a free born.
