A national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Owelle Rochas Okorocha has set machineries in place to ensure a speedy completion of an ultramodern complex for the apex Igbo sociocultural group, the Ohaneze Ndigbo.
The complex located in Enugu, was initiated and fully funded by the former governor of Imo State as part of his initiatives to ensure that the Igbo body has a good place to call its own.
Primed to be among the best sociocultural complexes anywhere in Nigeria when completed, the Ohaneze Ndigbo Complex is positioned to be a center for intellectual discourses and cultural exchanges to promote the rich cultural values of Ndigbo and further unite Nigerians by encouraging equity, competence and harmony in the Nigerian polity while advancing the political, economic and cultural interests of Ndigbo.
The Imo West Senator is presently on inspection at the site of the complex, with some of his aides and Igbo leaders who are enthralled by the vision behind the gigantic edifice, as well as the patriotic zeal of its initiator.
Work will resume in earnest at the site, soonest.
