Oshiomole Panics As Saraki, Dogara, Kwankwaso, Ors Set To Dump APC
The newly elected chairman of the All Progressives Congress [APC], Comrade Adams Oshiomole is currently in panic mode as members of the New Peoples Democratic Party [nPDP] are set to dump the ruling party, ElombahNews has been reliably informed.
All indices say that they are returning to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from where they pulled away.
The members gearing for the massive pullout involves the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara and former governor of Kano State, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
Others include former Adamawa State governor, Murtala Nyako, Senator Dino Melaye, et al.
Corroborating the information gathered by this medium, media aide to Senate President, Mr. Olu W. Onemola confirmed that Oshiomole, along with APC National Working Committee, is deep in deliberation with the Senate President and his team.
He posted on his Twitter handle:

On its part, Premium Times also corroborated the story, saying that baring any last minute change, the nPDP bloc will announce their exit from APC.
The medium said that the group, which called themselves ‘new APC’, will lead to a coalition of political parties and interests, to dethrone President Muhammadu Buhari.
The medium wrote:
“Four governors and other ranking PDP members, including Mr Saraki, jettisoned the party in the run off to the 2015 polls, shoving up the chances of the then opposition APC.
“But since forming the new government, many fault-lines started emerging, with the elements from the PDP bloc complaining of marginalisation.
On the upcoming coalition, the medium wrote:
“According to the source, those going into the new alliance include the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC), believed to be backed by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.”
It could be recalled that in a frantic move to save itself from demise, the Presidency had mandated the vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo [SAN] to engage the nPDP bloc in negotiations.
Several talks, however, did not yield any fruit following which the APC-led federal government stepped up its “persecution” of the aggrieved members.
Consequently, some former governors and ranking lawmakers are facing various forms of allegation, including arms hustling, corruption and armed robbery.
As if the party does not have enough headache, an incurable internal wrangling led to the ousting of former APC chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun.
Oyegun, it could be noted, hails from the same state as Oshiomole, Edo State.
