Oyinlola heads S’west PDP reconciliation committee, promises party’s return to power

Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, former Osun State Governor, and military administrator, Lagos State has emerged as the chairman, South-West Peoples Demicratic Party (PDP) Reconciliation Committee.
Explaining the challenge of the new post, Oyinlola said that the party must be united to take over power considering that Nigerians are yearning for genuine change and for the PDP to come back.
He said that every promise made by the All Progressives Congress (APC) government has not been fulfilled.
Oyinlola who spoke on Thursday at the South-West PDP Reconciliation Commmittee with Lagos State PDP Special Stakeholders said that he doesn’t no why the party should not be united.
He said, “Today every Nigerian knows that the government of the PDP has never been equalled in terms of performance and keeping promises.”
The former governor promised that the committee was going to consult with five leaders of the party as requested by some members of the party who spoke during the meeting, said that hopefully that peace would return to PDP.
“One thing that must be done is to get to the root cause if the problem.
“We are going to meet with the stakeholders and until then, we would not proffer solution. We are mandated to get our report ready before the end of his month.
“I was once a military administrator of Lagos State and all the people involved are known to me.
“I have a step ahead in getting solution. I appeal to party members to cooperate with the committee so that we can bring our party to the winning line,” he said.
