Pilgrims Board Executive Secretary bags 5 years jail sentence


For converting the sum of ₦69.2 million received to execute pilgrims operation in Israel to his personal use, the Executive Secretary of the Adamawa Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Dr. Jinga Mayo, is to spend the next five years in jail.

This was the outcome of the judgement of the Adamawa State High Court, presided over by Justice Nathan Musa, in a case brought before it by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
