Police Arraigns George Uboh In Zuba Upper Area Court
After five days of keeping him in detention without any charge proffered against him, the Police Force CID has finally arraigned Dr. George Uboh before an Upper Area Court in Zuba, a suburb of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory [FCT].
FCID operatives had suddenly stormed the office of Dr. Uboh, the chairman of George Uboh Whistleblowers Network [GUWN] and taken him away without stating the exact purpose of their unannounced visit.
The operatives search the office without again stating exactly what they were searching for.
After the search, the carted away telecommunication gadgets including laptops, telephones, etc.
ElombahNews reported that the foremost whistleblower was arrested after he blew the whistle on the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria [CBN], Mr. Godwin Emefiele and other Nigerians.
CBN has denied the allegation as unfounded.
