Police Games 2020: Ifeanyi Ubah Laments ‘Wickedness Of Obiano’

The Senator representing Anambra South at the National Assembly, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah has lamented what he termed “the wickedness of Obiano over Ifeanyi Ubah” over the ongoing Police Games 2020.

In a short memo made available to ElombahNews on Tuesday, Senator Ubah lamented that “Obiano is a terrific disappointment”.

The Senator wondered how a governor hosting a national sports event of a state, will refuse to host it in indigenous sports places.

He cited the ugly incident whereby Governor Obiano chose to host some of the events in other neighbouring states like Delta and Enugu.

See the attached table of events below:

Ubah felt at loss how Obiano will choose to host football events at otuocha township stadium while completely forgetting Ifeanyi Ubah stadium and games village.

It could be recalled that Obiano and his party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance [APGA], visited over five times throughout his campaign period with fake promises.

Ironically, some sports events were taken to Enugu and Delta States while abandoning the only CAF certified private stadium in west Africa .

“This is really unfortunate and sad,” he groaned.

He recounted how, in 2017, he gave Obiano jersey number 21 of his football club, Ifeanyi Ubah FC, at the same Ifeanyi Ubah stadium and games village.

Therein, he prophetically told him that he will win the governorship election in a the 21 local governments of the state.

Reminiscing, he said: “This is where he got the spiritual revelation of 21 over 21 when Senator Ifeanyi Ubah gave him a prophesied Jersey of number 21.”

History has it that Obiano actually won the election in the historical 21/21 fashion.

The visibly irritated Senator thought that, besides being a great act of ungratefulness, it is a great disservice to the state by moving resources due to facilities in the state to other regions simply because of perceived indifferences.

“Obiano is yet to rise beyond petty politics, witch-hunt, myopic greed, little-mindedness and vendetta,” he said.
