Protest by angry residents break out in Zamfara over kidnap of #JangebeGirls
A developing report from multiple source says that there is an ongoing protest by angry residents of Jangebe community in Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The protest broke following report that heavily armed bandits stormed Government Secondary School Jangebe in Zamfara State and abducted more than 300 schoolgirls.
It was gathered that the schoolgirls were discovered missing Thursday night after the students were counted.
Angry youths were seen blocking access road to the community, burning tires and destroying public and private properties.
The irate youths reportedly resisted journalists, security operatives, and government officials passage in the little known town.
Recall that youths in the state had held peaceful protests in the state in October 2020 demanding an end to the protracted killings and other violence acts across the state.
