Rape: Another Lady Breaks Silence, Accuses Ex-Winners Pastor Of Sexual Assault

370

Following the allegation of rape by Busola, wife of soul singer, Timi Dakolo, against the senior pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo, which forced him to step down after protests in his Lagos and Abuja churches, another lady has revealed an attempted rape incident against Bishop Akinola Michael Fowowe, a former pastor of the Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners’ Chapel) and now bishop of Word Ambassadors Church International.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Ms. Victoria Nkong, Events Producer, Talent Manager, Public Relations Consultant and CEO Qtaby Events, alleged that Bishop Fowowe, while he was a Winners Chapel pastor, had tried to rape her by his car right in front of her parents’ house when he came to visit her after being ill from appendicitis.

She detailed how, under the guise of getting her to see him off after a two-hour prayer session for her, her parents and sisters, the Bishop pinned her to his car and began unbuttoning her blouse under the cover of darkness occasioned by a power outage.

Victoria explained that she only escaped what would have been a rape case because another car arrived on the scene with its full lights, catching the pastor unawares. On seeing the full lights, she alleged that the Bishop subsequently ended the assault, got into his car and sped off.

She also alleged that two of her sisters later confirmed he tried to do similar things with them.

Victoria, who asked the Bishop to tender an apology to her, to God and to others he has subsequently abused, also called out the Bishop’s wife, Joke Fowowe, whom she claims helps the clergyman, “clean up” the sexual abuse cases he was perpetrating.
