Rumble Royale: Mike Okiro Refuses IGP’s Request To Sack Fake, Rich Officer

IGP Idris wrote the Police Service Commission chairman Mike Okiro requesting that ASP Bernard Agada be dismissed/prosecuted, Mike Okiro refused.
Police Service Commission [PSC] chairman, Mike Okiro

There is presently an undercurrent ravaging the two offices of the Inspector-General of Police [IGP], Mr Idris Kpotum Abubakar and the chairman of the Police Service Commission [PSC], Mr Mike Okiro.

The bone of contention is the appointment of one police officer’s who goes by the official name “ASP Bernard Agada “AP100593”” but was actually revealed to be “George Ejeh Stephen”.

According to information made available to Elombah.com by an anti-corruption investigation group, Eagle Eyes International Transparency, ASP Bernard Agada was a drop-out of Army Day Secondary School, Chindit Barrack, Zaria.

He, however, procured the certificate [Academic] with which he was employed 26 six years ago.

Elombah.com gathered that he changed to the name “Bernard Agada” because he engaged in robbery act and was remanded in prison custody with his real name “George Ejeh Stephen” between 1988 and 1990.

It is also gathered that he wormed his way into the past government of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan where he rose to the position of Chief Personal Security officer.

His source of wealth, it was also learnt was that he benefitted from the renowned arms deal for which former National Security Adviser [NSA], Colonel Sambo Dasuki has spent about two years behind bars.

In this latest development, following a petition by Eagle Eyes to IGP Idris, he wrote the Police Service Commission requested that Bernard Agada should be dismissed and prosecuted since July 2017 [see attached document]:

IGP Idris wrote the Police Service Commission chairman Mike Okiro requesting that ASP Bernard Agada be dismissed/prosecuted, Mike Okiro refused.

Ironically, however, PSC, reacting to the publication on Thursday, wrote in an SMS to Elombah.com claiming ignorance of the IGP’s letter.

PSC wrote: “Pls I will get back to you tomorrow morning with answers. But just for your information, the Commission has no report or recommendation on the said Benard  AGADA.  Thanks.”

When Elombah.com accosted them with the letter which in its possession, they mildly replied: “OK, I will show the Chairman”.

This media, however, has a feeling that the PSC is being economical with the truth.

The document above shows that it was written by the IGP on July 10, 2017, and was acknowledged receipt by office of the PSC chairman on July 11.

On what pretext, then will PSC say that “the Commission has no report or recommendation on the said Bernard Agada”?

Elombah.com has, therefore, requested Mr Mike Okiro to kindly address the issues raised in the last report like”

Is “Bernard Agada” actually  “George Ejeh Stephen”?

How did he amass so much wealth?

What has the police done to expose and prosecute him?

What is the level of the investigations? Etc.

We hope that the PSC will live up to its promise to get back to us tomorrow morning with answers to these salient questions, as well as honour IGP’s request that Agada be sacked from the force and prosecuted accordingly.

A correspondent, who was close to Mr Agada, once heard him brag that he gave PSC chairman, Mr Okiro 20 million Naira, hence no one can sack him from police service.

Reacting to PSC’s claim that “the Commission has no report or recommendation on the said Bernard Agada”, Femi Akintola, Media Analyst, Eagle Eyes International Transparency wrote:

“Mike Okiro, the chairman Police Service Commission obviously is a fraud personified by granting this misleading press release by his media aide.

“Is obvious that when the whistle blowers reveal truth, the agencies that ought to act swiftly often comprises investigation & actions.

“Why is PSC OKIRO chasing shadows & leaving substances?

“Okiro & Maurice Archibong should come out bold to treat investigation/recommendations from IGP office rather been distractive & deceive Nigeria.

“We have vital evidence against the chairman & his key staff on all discussions so far. We are not surprised @ PSC chairman’s press release.

“The erring killer cop (ASP Benard Agada bragged that he gave Okiro N20M to close the case.

“This press release from every pointer confirmed his brags.

“The ASP was in the State House to see a key staff in the president office to intimate them that the petitioner of his case is a drug addict & that they Presidency should call the IGP to impose his power on the IPO to stop further action on the open secrets.

“He is currently planning to assassinate the principal Witness now. We shall confidently see to the logical end of this case.

“Okiro cannot deny receiving recommendations from IGP office that the erring officer be dismissed & prosecuted. See attached copy.

“OKIRO quest for supremacy is disaster to Nigeria. Wait for updates.”
