Saraki Discovers Unused NASS TV Studio Worth over N500 Million

sarakiSenate President, Senator Bukola Saraki [image above] has discovered an unused National Assembly Television (NASS TV) studio worth well over N500 million Naira.

Saraki however vowed to investigate factors that contributed to the abandonment of the N500 million NASS TV which is located inside National Assembly Premises.

Senate President had on last week‎ embarked on a tour of the facilities within the National Assembly.

Saraki on his tweeter handle said that he was informed that up to N500 million was spent on it in the seventh Senate.

Saraki also assured that the National Assembly would continue to support President Muhammadu Buhari‎ by enacting appropriate laws and giving proper oversight to government agencies

Saraki said, “I was told up to 500 Million Naira was spent on it. We will look into it to find out the true situation of things.”

‎On Buhari anti-corruption war, Saraki said, “We support it and will continue to do so by enacting appropriate laws and giving proper oversight.

“We have Kick-started process of restoring public trust that 8th Senate will only make people oriented decisions.”
