The police, on Wednesday, raided a residential building belonging to the wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Dame Patience in Maitama Abuja.
Elombah.com gathered that Patience Jonathan bought the house for her brother.
The brother was said to be in Port Harcourt when the raid occurred on Wednesday.
The building is located at the Maitama District, an affluent region of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The security personnels, who came in commando style, literally broke down doors and windows to gain access to all nooks and crannies of the building.
The operatives searched all the rooms in the house and took away a certain sealed envelope without disclosing the contents.
Earlier, residents reported seeing suspicious men in three vehicles patrolling the neighbourhood.
The operatives then suddenly swooped down on the building and started breaking down all entrances, leaving all locks on the doors brutally battered.
Mrs. Jonathan has, recently, been running a battle with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC] over the ownership of a controversial $15 million.
It is gathered, however, that the EFCC did not carry out the raid as locals confirmed men in police uniforms and vehicles executed the raid.
